Strictly necessary storage

• Authentication: an encrypted first-party session cookie can keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Short-lived security cookies support verification, password reset, account linking and recent-authentication checks for up to 10 minutes.
• Consent preferences: the __Host-plotwild-consent-v1 first-party cookie remembers your Analytics and Marketing choices for up to six months so we do not ask on every visit.
• Unfinished project drafts: your browser may keep a selected photo and form answers in local IndexedDB for up to 24 hours before sign-in. It stays on that device until submitted, discarded or expired.
• Security controls may use short-lived request and rate-limit identifiers. They are not used to build advertising profiles.

Optional analytics

When production analytics is enabled and you choose Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics records aggregated page-view statistics for a small allowlist of public informational pages. Vercel may process the page path, referrer, event time, broad location derived from the request, browser, operating system and device type. PlotWild removes query strings and fragments and excludes account, project, operations, API, password and newsletter-preference routes.

Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies or create a browsing history across different websites. PlotWild does not send custom analytics events, customer identifiers, garden information or uploaded images.

Marketing

PlotWild does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or marketing profiles. The Marketing control records a future preference only and does not activate any technology. Any future service would require an updated notice and a new consent request before it could load.

Operational monitoring

We use privacy-filtered server and edge logs and error monitoring to keep the service secure and working. Default personal-data collection, request bodies, cookies, customer images and sensitive prompts are excluded. This necessary monitoring is separate from optional browser analytics.

Your controls

You can accept, reject or choose optional categories in the banner and reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time. Optional technologies remain off until you choose otherwise. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps Marketing off. Blocking strictly necessary storage can prevent sign-in and protected actions; you can also clear local drafts and cookies in your browser and revoke sessions from your account.
