Refund and cancellation policy

You can cancel an unpaid Checkout attempt and ask us to review any paid credit-pack purchase. This policy does not reduce statutory consumer rights.

Cancel before payment

You may cancel an open Stripe Checkout Session from PlotWild. The attempt is marked cancelled only after Stripe confirms that it has expired. If payment completes at the same time, the authoritative paid record wins and the purchase appears in your account. A cancelled Checkout does not delete your saved garden draft; starting payment again is an explicit action.

Request a refund

Any paid purchase can be submitted for review from the account that bought it. PlotWild calculates the relevant amount from server-side purchase and credit records; you cannot choose a Stripe identifier or edit the amount. Available unused credits from that purchase are placed on refund hold while we review it. Other packs remain available. Work already reserved is allowed to finish and is then recorded as consumed or moved to the hold if released.

Cancel a request

You may cancel a refund request until an operator approves it. Held credits are restored once. Once approval has begun, Stripe’s refund lifecycle applies and the request can no longer be cancelled through PlotWild.

Review and amount

Approval normally covers the operator-calculated value of unused held credits from that purchase. We may apply a larger remedy for a duplicate charge, service defect or other justified case and record the reason. We may reject a request where no refund is due, explaining the outcome. Eligibility is reviewed rather than automatically denied by time limits in code.

Timing and currency

Only Stripe’s authoritative successful refund status causes credits to become refunded. Pending or action-required refunds remain on hold; failed or cancelled refunds release the hold. Banks and payment methods control when funds appear. Refunds are issued against the original payment and presentment currency, subject to Stripe and bank handling.
