Who controls your information

PlotWild is the controller of personal information handled through PlotWild. Our contact address is 10 Okalands, Kenmare, Co.Kerry. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to info@plotwild.life.

Information we handle

• Account details, including your normalized email address, display name, verified-password credential, linked Google identity, adult/parent attestation, and active device sessions.
• Your garden photos, broad region, any legacy garden-condition answers, project instructions, generated concept renders, planting plans, measurements and downloads.
• Purchase records such as Stripe customer, Checkout and PaymentIntent identifiers, base and presentment amounts and currencies, credit usage, cancellation and refund records. PlotWild does not receive your full card number.
• Newsletter consent evidence and the minimum suppression record needed to respect an unsubscribe, bounce or complaint.
• Your device-level cookie choices and, only after you enable Analytics, aggregated Vercel Web Analytics page-view information for allowlisted public pages, such as page path, referrer, event time, broad location, browser and device type.
• Security and operational records, including request identifiers, access outcomes, device/session metadata, worker events and privacy-filtered error reports. We do not intentionally log customer images or sensitive prompt content.

Why we use it

We process account, project and payment information to perform our contract with you. We use proportionate security, fraud-prevention, service-reliability and product-support records for our legitimate interests in operating a safe service. We use records required for accounting, disputes and lawful requests to meet legal obligations. Optional Vercel Web Analytics and marketing email are used only with consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

Service providers and international transfers

We use specialist providers for hosting and databases, Cloudflare R2 storage, OpenAI processing, Stripe payments, Resend email delivery, Sentry error monitoring and, after Analytics consent, Vercel Web Analytics. They receive only the information needed for their role and act under contract. Data may be processed outside your country. Where UK or EEA transfer rules apply, we use an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses and UK addendum.

Retention and deletion

Projects and accounts scheduled for deletion enter a 30-day recovery period, during which access is restricted. We then delete or de-identify service content, subject to short-lived backups and records we must retain for security, accounting, refund, dispute or legal reasons. Newsletter suppression records are kept in minimal form so an address is not accidentally re-imported. Verification, reset, upload and stream tokens expire quickly and are stored as hashes where specified.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, export and delete account information from your account controls, revoke individual sessions, unsubscribe from email marketing immediately, and change optional Analytics or Marketing choices through Cookie settings in the footer. PlotWild does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and a Global Privacy Control signal keeps Marketing off. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or complain to a regulator. UK residents may contact the ICO; Irish and other EEA residents may contact their local supervisory authority. US state rights vary. Email us to exercise a right; we may need to verify the request.

Children

Anyone may browse general-audience pages, but every account, purchase, upload and newsletter subscription in v1 must be owned and managed by an adult or parent. We do not offer child-owned accounts or ask for a child’s date of birth. See our child-friendly privacy summary.
